About
At the heart of my practice is the conviction that purpose is forged at the intersection of clarity and courage. As a Purpose-driven coach, counselor, and consultant, I help clients identify their core purpose, leading to personal or organizational resiliency and overall wellbeing
Helping people live and achieve their potential
Throughout my life, my constant refrain has been to help people live and achieve their potential. I have worked across the private, higher education, and federal government sectors and am a recognized talent development leader, executive coach, and organizational development consultant with a proven track record of improving outcomes for leaders and organizations across multiple industries. As a counselor, coach, and internal organizational development consultant, my greatest satisfaction has come from empowering the success of others.
About My Practice
Most clients are not lacking tactics, talent, or potential; they are constrained by the status quo. I help my clients to move beyond these constraints into a Possibilities Mindset, where discovery is fueled by curiosity and creativity. Through a coaching or consulting partnership with me, intellectual and creative safety is cultivated to foster a high-trust environment for clients to think and feel differently, stretch their capabilities, and realign their drivers. Supporting clients to confirm what truly matters to them helps to unlock possibilities and provides clarity and the momentum necessary for transformation.
My background
With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and certifications as a Professional Coach and in Organizational Development, I bring a powerhouse combination of credentials to my work. I complement these with 25+ years of experience, having coached over 10,000 clients.
I’ve enjoyed a career of improving outcomes and opportunities for students, professionals, and organizations. I have held change-agent and leadership roles in the public and private sectors and in five colleges and universities—including American University in Washington, DC, and Whittier College in Southern California—and flagship federal agencies based in Washington: the United States Agency for International Development, the United States Department of State, and NASA.
I am proud to say I have been recognized numerous times for dedication and service by my clients.
In addition to my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Asian History from Wheaton College in Norton, MA.
I have circumnavigated the globe, visiting 11 countries: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Sri Lanka, India, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Spain. I have lived in two countries outside of the United States—England and Japan—and in five US states: New York, Massachusetts, Florida, the Washington, D.C. metro region, and California. I immigrated to the US as a teenager from the United Kingdom and currently live New York State.
